What do you complain about the most?
Why I Complain Most About God and the Government

If you ever catch me deep in thought, chances are I’m grumbling about one of two things: God or the government. Not in a mindless, angry way, but in the way that comes from wrestling with life’s biggest questions. These two forces—one divine, one human—shape nearly everything around me, and yet, they both seem to fall short in ways that leave me endlessly frustrated.
God: The Silent Mystery
I grew up hearing that God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present. If that’s true, then why does life feel like an endless struggle? Why does suffering persist, even when people pray? Why does evil seem to thrive while good people struggle? I don’t complain about God because I don’t believe in Him—I complain because I do.
Faith, to me, isn’t about blind obedience; it’s about engagement. I question, I argue, and yes, I complain. The Bible itself is full of people—Job, David, the prophets—who openly wrestled with God. They asked, Why, Lord? And I find myself doing the same.
Until next time…
