This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

How I unwind after a long day

How do you unwind after a demanding day?

How I Unwind After a Demanding Day

After a long, demanding day, my version of unwinding doesn’t need candles, meditation music, or a fancy routine. It’s pretty simple, really. I give myself about five solid minutes of pure rest. That’s it. Just five. I sit back, let the weight of the day slide off, close my eyes or stare at nothing, and breathe. It’s like hitting a reset button before I switch gears.

Once those five minutes are up, I jump straight into a game of NBA 2K on my phone. That’s my jam. There’s something about that quick transition from rest to gameplay that clears my mind. The fast breaks, the dunks, the smooth crossovers—it’s not just entertainment, it’s therapy. It’s familiar, engaging, and gives me a small win before the day ends.

No pressure, no expectations. Just me, my phone, and 2K. That’s how I shake off the day and find my calm.

Until next time…
