A take at a time and you remind me of grace something I barely think of .I will be there…

This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

One luxury I can’t live without

What’s the one luxury you can’t live without?

One Luxury I Can’t Live Without: My Phone

Some say luxury is a yacht. Others say it’s a closet full of designer clothes, a private chef, or a rare sports car. For me? It’s much smaller, it fits in my pocket, and it follows me everywhere. My phone is that one luxury I can’t live without.

Let me be clear—I’ve lived without it before. I remember life when phones were attached to walls, when payphones were still a thing, and when the only texts we passed were handwritten notes in class. But once the smartphone came into my world, something changed. It became more than a tool—it became an extension of how I experience life.

It holds my thoughts and reminders, my plans and my memories. It’s my camera when the sky looks like poetry. It’s my notepad when a random thought hits me in traffic. It’s the speaker blasting a beat when I need to move. It’s the GPS guiding me when I’m in a new part of town, or a familiar one I’ve somehow forgotten.

More than that, my phone is my creative partner. I write with it, think with it, research on it, and build from it. I’ve edited videos, made voice notes about ideas that kept me up at night, and recorded scent memories after a new perfume oil hit me just right. It’s the bridge between solitude and connection, between my world and the wider one.

Some folks say phones are distractions. Maybe they can be. But for me, it’s a luxury that adds value, not takes away. It sharpens me when I use it right. It helps me unplug when I need to—setting alarms to rest, playing a game of 2K to wear myself out before sleep, or streaming music that lets my thoughts breathe.

So yes, if I had to pick one luxury I can’t live without, it’s not made of gold, but it does hold treasures. It’s not flashy, but it’s powerful. My phone is that silent co-pilot helping me move through life with more rhythm, reach, and reason.

It’s not just a luxury—it’s a lifestyle.
