This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

my simple Self Care practice.

How do you practice self-care?

How I Practice Self-Care: It Starts With My Mind

Self-care is more than a trendy word for me — it’s how I choose to show up for myself every day. At the heart of it is a simple principle: I take care of my mind first, then my body naturally follows.

Taking care of my mind means I pay attention to my thoughts, my moods, and the little stories I tell myself. Sometimes it’s as simple as pausing to breathe deeply when stress tries to sneak in. Other times, it’s reminding myself that it’s okay to slow down, rest, and be human. Keeping my mind clear and calm helps me make better decisions.

Once my mind is in a good space, I focus on my body — the vessel that carries me through each day. I start with small basics that mean a lot: brushing my teeth , taking showers that wake me up and refresh me, using a particular fragrance and paying attention to how I feel. These everyday actions anchor me in a sense of  care.

I also make sure my food supports my energy and well-being. Fruits are my go-to; they are nature’s perfect snacks, light yet satisfying, and they always make me feel nourished from the inside out.

Movement  is another pillar of my self-care. I don’t make  exercise a chore —Whether it’s a walk outside, a quick stretch, or a full workout session , moving my body clears my head and keeps me strong.

In the end, my self-care is .

I care for my mind first so my body can thrive. When both are in sync, I feel ready to face anything the day and life in general brings my way.

so Until next time .
