This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

most on a Meal

What’s the most money spent on a Meal? Was it Worth it?

The most I’ve ever spent on a meal happened during an unplanned date at a restaurant I had never been to before. The atmosphere was nice, the menu looked polished, and I thought, “Why not?” By the time the check came, I blinked twice and realized I had paid more for that one steak than I usually spend on groceries for a week.

The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable either. What made it not worth it was how unintentional the whole thing felt. I had no plan, no budget, and no real connection to the moment—just a fast decision that came with a slow financial pinch after.

Now whenever eating out, I always ask myself: “Is this part of my story—or just a surprise charge?” It doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy ; It just means I am more likely to enjoy now and still enjoy later.

Until next time.
