This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

recent Excitement

The last thing you got excited about.

What Excitement Really Feels Like

Excitement, for me, is that spark when life feels alive again—when something, no matter how small, grabs your full attention and says, “Hey.” The last thing that really got me excited was a simple idea: “it is in life.” Almost like a whisper saying, “There’s something good happening right here if you look closely.”

Whether it’s meeting a person, taking an unexpected walk, or trying out some new piece of technology, I feel this rush—a mix of curiosity and energy. It’s not about how big the moment is, but how much it makes me want to lean in .

Now I try doing one normal thing in an unusual way. Take a different route home. Ask someone a question I have never asked before. That tiny shift is often enough to spark excitement—because my brain loves a fresh angle.

  Joy and excitement.

A kid waiting for the ice cream truck is excited—bouncing, impatient, counting every second until the music turns onto his street. But when he or she  finally gets the cone and takes that first cold, sweet bite—that’s joy. Excitement is the build-up; joy is the moment you actually taste it.

I think we need both. Excitement keeps me curious. Joy keeps us grateful. Together, they make life richer.

Until next time .
