This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

When Salt Meets Pepper… and a Little Too Much of It

Salt and pepper are the two simplest spices in the kitchen, but they can make or break a dish. Salt brings out flavor; pepper adds a quiet kick. Together they’re like the old friends who show up at every meal.

But one time, I went from “seasoned just right” to “epic fail” in a single shake. While making soup, I added what I thought was just a little extra pepper for warmth. Instead, it was like I poured hot coals straight into the pot. My soup went from cozy to fiery in seconds!

That moment reminded me that even with the basics, balance is everything. Salt and pepper are powerful on their own—

Until next time.
