What skill would you like to learn?
Spotting the Small and Being Resourceful
One skill I’d really like to sharpen is the ability to spot the small things in my day and make the most out of them. Life throws us little moments all the time—like a short break, a random idea, or even something as simple as an extra piece of fruit in the kitchen. Most of the time, I rush past them, looking for bigger opportunities.

But the truth is, the small things add up. If I can learn to pause, notice, and then turn those small moments into something useful, I’ll be more resourceful. For example, ten minutes could become a quick draft, an unfinished thought could turn into tomorrow’s project, and one kind exchange could brighten the rest of the day.
To me, being resourceful isn’t just about saving—it’s about transforming. It’s taking whatever is already in front of me and giving it new value. And I know the better I get at this skill, the more I’ll realize I’ve had what I needed all along.
Until next time.
