This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

Time of year

What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?

Why August Is My Favorite Month of the Year

August has a certain born magic to it. It sits right at the edge of seasons—summer still warm, days unwinding, but you can feel a new chapter preparing to open. That mix of ease and expectation is exactly why it’s my favorite month of the year.

August breeze is different, the days stretch just long enough, and somehow everything feels possible again. It’s the month where reflection comes naturally, and the momentum for what’s next starts to build on its own.

People are out, energy is high, yet there’s still room to breathe. I get to enjoy simple moments—a birthday, good food, outdoor scenery, sunsets that feel like they last forever—and use that space to prepare for the final sprint of the year.

Why August Is My Favorite Month of the Year

It’s the one month that stands confidently between warm and cold—holding on to summer’s heat, but already whispering the cooler days ahead. That balance alone makes it unlike any other month. It feels like standing in two seasons at once, with the freedom to choose the pace you want.

What makes August even more unique to me is that it’s the month of the lion. There’s something bold and steady about that energy—strength without noise, confidence without chaos. It matches the way August moves: powerful, but not rushed. Bright, but not overwhelming. It reminds me to lead my own days with that same strength.

August becomes a time  to step forward with intention. The whole month feels like a gentle push toward what’s next.

August reminds me that there’s beauty in being between things—

August reminds me to pause, enjoy, and then push forward.

— Until next time.
