This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

Waiting  Till 12 O’Clock — A New Year Tradition I Love

One of my favorite New Year traditions is simple, yet powerful: waiting , eating until the clock strikes 12.

That waiting feels like respect for the moment. It’s about honoring the turning of time. One year closing. Another opening.

As the minutes pass, there’s excitement in the air. Laughter, countdowns, and that quiet feeling of hope building inside. When 12 finally arrives, the first bite feels different — like you’re welcoming the new year with intention .

In a world that moves fast, waiting with food until midnight is my way of slowing time for just a moment — appreciating where I am, what I have, and what’s coming next.

Sometimes the simplest traditions carry the deepest meaning. And for me, the New Year always begins best with patience, gratitude, and that first joyful bite after 12.

Until next time .
