This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

teenage thoughts

If I could sit down with my teenage self today, I would not give him a long lecture. I would keep it simple.

First, stay focused on a few things. Not everything deserves your energy. You do not have to chase every opportunity, every trend, or every distraction. Pick a small number of meaningful goals and go deep. Depth builds skill. Skill builds confidence. Confidence builds freedom. When I think about how my science teacher, Mr. Osei, inspired me, it wasn’t because he did everything. It was because he loved one thing deeply and mastered it.

Second, stay honest. Honesty is leverage. When you tell the truth—to others and to yourself—you remove confusion. You make clean decisions. You sleep better. There is no mental tax from pretending. Integrity compounds just like money.

Third, stay true. Do not bend yourself just to fit into rooms that were never built for you. Identity can stretch without breaking. You can adapt without losing yourself.

Teenage years feel urgent. Everything feels like it must happen now. But real growth is patient. Focus on a few things. Stay honest. Stay true.

That alone would have been enough advice.

Until next time.
