This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

Growth Through Pushing Past Pause

Two experiences grew me the most: writing Pushing Past Pause and the passing of my father.

Writing the Book

Pushing Past Pause is about action.

Writing it forced consistency. No waiting for the right mood. No hiding behind doubt. Just showing up daily. Writing. Reading. Thinking clearly.

Writing sharpened my discipline.
Reading sharpened my mind.

Together, they build me every day.

Losing My Father

My father lived to 80. At my age, he was just starting his doctorate. That perspective changed how I see time.

His passing removed comfort. It made responsibility real. It made self-reliance necessary. Grief stripped away distractions and clarified what matters.

Writing builds discipline.
Loss builds perspective.

Onwards

Now I push past pause in everything.

I write daily.
I read daily.
I move forward daily.

Growth is no longer accidental.
It is intentional.

Onwards.
