Grocery shopping is as personal as it gets. Everyone has their go-to items, the essentials that make life a bit smoother and more enjoyable. Today, I’m sharing my top five grocery items and why they’ve earned a permanent spot on my list.
1. Bananas

Bananas are a classic staple. Perfect for a quick snack, they’re packed with potassium and energy, making them a great pre–workout boost or just a satisfying grab-and-go option. They’re versatile too — whether it’s in a smoothie or sliced over oatmeal, they never disappoint.
2. Strawberries

Sweet, juicy, and bursting with flavor, strawberries are my fruit of choice. They’re great on their own, but they also elevate breakfasts and desserts. Think strawberry-topped pancakes or a refreshing fruit salad. Plus, they’re loaded with antioxidants, so it’s a treat with benefits.
3. Black & Milds

A bit unconventional for a grocery list, but hey, everyone has their unique habits. Black & Milds are my preferred way to unwind. They offer a moment of relaxation and reflection — something I think we all need in our busy lives.
4. Chips

Chips are my ultimate comfort food. Whether I am outside or writing on a streak, a bag of chips is never far away. From spicy flavors to classic salted, chips satisfy cravings like no other.
5. Lighters

I keep losing lighters or people ask for them and never giving it back.You might wonder why lighters made the list, but they’re one of those things you never want to run out of when needed. Whether for lighting a candle, grilling, or other uses, they’re small but essential.
