steering Actually

What is a word you feel that too many people use?

the Actual steer

I’ve noticed how often people , foremost myself use the word actually. I’ve been avoiding it—not because it’s wrong, but because it is rarely needed or usually adds nothing.

Most sentences sound cleaner without it:

I like coffee feels stronger than I actually like coffee.

But there’s one time the word works—when it flips an expectation. If someone assumes you dislike the rain, saying “I actually love it” adds a little surprise.

Language can be simple . Even skipping one small word can make your thoughts clearer.

Until next time.
