This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

How do you relax?

5 ways  I Relax

Relaxation, for me, isn’t just about lying down—it’s about finding little rhythms that reset me.

Writing is usually where I begin. Putting words on a page clears my head like opening a window and letting fresh air in.

Then, I love taking a walk. Just moving, watching the sky, or hearing the crunch of gravel under my shoes—it slows everything down. Sometimes the best thoughts show up when I’m simply putting one foot in front of the other.

Basketball, though, might be my favorite release. The game pulls me into the moment. I’m not overthinking—I’m just moving, shooting, passing. It’s pure presence.

Reading is another kind of rest. It lets me step into different worlds, explore new ideas, and see life through someone else’s eyes. Quiet, but powerful.

Intentional silence. Just sitting still with no phone, no noise, and letting myself simply be. Even five minutes of that feels like pressing a reset button on my day.

All these little practices—writing, walking, basketball, reading, and even silence—are how I keep my balance.

Ideas for your own moments of calm

Until next time.
