This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

raising a Flag

What personality trait in people raises a red flag with you?

When Only One View Exists

One personality trait that always raises a red flag for me is when someone only sees their own point of view all the time. It’s like having a conversation where the door only swings one way—you can knock, but it never really opens for your ideas. I get it, we all have strong opinions, but when there’s no space for exchange, it quickly turns into a wall instead of a bridge.

The best simple practice I’ve found to stay open in conversations is this: pause and ask one genuine question before giving your answer. It doesn’t have to be complicated—something like, “That’s interesting, what makes you feel that way?” That small step  shows you’re listening, and often brings out insights you wouldn’t have expected.

Conversations flow better when curiosity is in the room. And honestly, it makes life a lot more interesting than just listening to yourself talk.

If you enjoy reflections like this, stick around— keep the conversation going.

Until next time.
