This is quiet courage — not loud wins, but grace that kept walking through grief. Your words remind us that…

favorite Visit

Do you have a favorite place you have visited? Where is it?

My favorite place I ever visited is not just one place—it feels like three places that live inside me for different reasons.

Manhattan showed me movement. The streets felt like living screens, flashing with people, lights, noise, and purpose. Everyone was going somewhere, even if no one knew exactly where. I remember standing still while the crowd rushed around me, feeling small but inspired at the same time. It taught me how big the world is and how fast life can move if you let it.

St. Louis felt different. Warmer. I remember the crabs most clearly—how eating them felt like a ritual instead of just a meal. Sitting there, cracking shells, getting messy, laughing, and taking my time made me realize how a place can change pace.

Then there is Paterson Park in Maryland. It stretches out in a way that feels endless. Walking through it feels like walking through a long thought. It is quiet in a good way. The kind of quiet that lets you notice your footsteps.

Manhattan is  speed. St. Louis  is ease. Paterson Park is still. Together, they remind me that my favorite place —it’s about how a place changes the way I see, move, and feel in the moment.

Until next time.
