Jollof rice has quietly become my favorite thing to cook. It’s one of those meals that feels like comfort and celebration at the same time. Over the years, I’ve learned how to make it faster — the rice, the sauce, the seasoning all come together smoothly now. The only part I still take my time with is the meat, because good flavor deserves patience.

What I love most is cooking a large bowl at once. One cooking session turns into three or four meals. It saves time, reduces stress, and lets me focus on writing, resting, or enjoying the day instead of constantly thinking about what to eat next.

There’s something satisfying about knowing a good meal is already waiting for you.
I ponder,If one pot of rice can save hours across a week, what other simple cooking habits could quietly give me more time to live?
Till next time.
