Home Is My Favorite Place to Be

If you ask me who my favorite people to be around are, the answer is simple: my family — and you.

Family is where I recharge. I do not have to explain my history because they lived parts of it with me. From elders with wisdom to younger ones with fresh energy, family keeps me grounded. They remind me where I started and why I keep going.

There is something powerful about sitting together, sharing food, stories, or even just space. It is not always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it is just presence. And presence is enough.

But you — yes, you reading this —

Writing has made our connection real to me. When I share milestones, lessons, small reflections about life, you are part of that circle. You may not sit at my table physically, but you sit at the table of my thoughts. Every post I write is a conversation I am having with you.

Together, that balance means everything to me.
