The Two Objects I Can’t Live Without
There are only two objects I would struggle to live without: my phone and my laptop. Mostly my phone.
My phone is my command center. It holds my notes, my drafts, my reminders, my calendar, and my communication. It allows me to write anywhere — in a quiet room, outside under dark rainy clouds, or during a simple pause in the day. It keeps me connected to family, to readers, and to ideas the moment they arrive. It is not just convenience; it is access. Access to growth, information, and expression.

My laptop is different. It is where the deeper work happens. When I am shaping chapters , editing carefully, or thinking through structure, the laptop gives me space. The screen feels wider. The focus feels sharper. It turns thoughts into organized output.
But if I had to choose one, it would be the phone. It moves with me. It captures life in real time. It keeps momentum alive.
These two tools support the life I am building — and right now, they are hard to live without.
