I’ve realized I carry a couple of quiet skills that don’t always show up on the surface.
One is drawing and painting. It’s a space where I can slow things down and translate what I see—or even what I feel—into something visible. There’s a certain control in it, but also freedom. Lines, colors, and shapes become a language when words aren’t enough.

The other is my ability to smell perfumes with intention. Not just liking a scent, but noticing layers—what comes first, what settles, what stays. It’s like reading a story through scent. Each fragrance has structure, and over time I’ve learned to recognize it.
Both skills share something in common: attention. They require me to pause, observe, and connect with detail. In a world that moves fast, these quiet abilities keep me grounded—and sharp in ways that are hard to explain, but easy to feel.
Until next time.
