What do you love now, that you hated when you were younger?
Learning to Love Peace and Quiet
When I was younger, I hated peace and quiet. I always wanted noise around me. Whether it was people talking, music playing, or something happening, silence felt boring.
As I got older, that changed completely.
Today, I enjoy peace and quiet more than I ever thought I would. It gives me space to think, write, reflect, and appreciate the moment. I have learned that not every moment needs to be filled with noise. Sometimes the greatest ideas, the deepest rest, and the clearest decisions come from silence.

I still enjoy being around people and activity, but I no longer feel the need for constant noise. Peace has become something I value instead of something I avoid.
Growing older has taught me that quiet is not empty. It is often where we find ourselves.
Until next time.
