What’s a piece of technology you’re convinced will exist in 20 years?
What Comes After Neuralink?
I am convinced that Neuralink is only the beginning. Whether it succeeds exactly as planned or not, I believe it is opening the door to another piece of technology that we will likely see within the next 20 years.Neuralink is a chip that is inserted into the brain and the person can interact with technology and the environment.

History has shown that one invention often leads to another. The internet led to smartphones. Smartphones led to apps, mobile payments, and artificial intelligence becoming part of everyday life. Each breakthrough creates opportunities that people could hardly imagine at the start.
I think brain-computer interfaces will follow a similar path. Even if the first generation is limited, future inventors will build on the ideas, improve them, and create technologies that today sound like science fiction.
No one can say exactly what that future technology will be, but I believe it will change how we interact with computers, learn new skills, or even communicate in ways we have not yet imagined.

The exciting part is not just Neuralink itself. It is the innovations that will grow from it. Looking back 20 years from now, we may realize that we were witnessing the beginning of an entirely new era.
That is why I pay attention to breakthroughs like Neuralink. Sometimes the most important invention is not the final destination—it is the first step toward something even greater. It’s interesting to think about which technologies today are quietly laying the foundation for the next generation of innovations.
Until next time.
