What is the best excuse you have heard lately?
The Best Excuse I Have Heard Lately
One of the best excuses I have heard lately is, “I don’t have everything I want or need right now.” At first, it sounds reasonable. We all wish we had more time, more money, better tools, or the perfect opportunity.
But the more I think about it, the more I realize that waiting for everything to be perfect can become a habit. The truth is, the present moment is where progress begins.

Instead of focusing on what I don’t have, I try to dig deeper. I ask myself, What can I do with what I already have? That question changes everything. It pushes me to become more resourceful with my thoughts, my skills, and the opportunities already in front of me.
Some of the greatest ideas and achievements started with limited resources. What made the difference was not having everything—it was making the most of what was available.
The future will always bring new opportunities, but today is where we build the habits that prepare us for them. Be resourceful. Use what you have. Think creatively. Start now.
You may discover that what you already have is enough to take the next step.
Until next time.
