One More Night

Sometimes a single lyric finds a way into your mind and refuses to leave. Lately, that lyric for me has been, “One more night.”

The funny thing is, I didn’t even know who sang it at first. Those three words kept replaying in my head over and over. It got to the point where I started humming the melody just to figure out where it came from. Eventually, I found the answer—it was Phil Collins and his classic song One More Night.

It’s interesting how our minds work. Out of an entire song, one simple phrase can stick with us. Maybe it’s the melody, maybe it’s the emotion behind it, or maybe it arrives at the right moment in our lives. Whatever the reason, that lyric stayed with me long before I knew the artist.

It reminded me that music has a unique way of connecting with us. Sometimes we don’t need to know every word or even the name of the song. A single line is enough to spark curiosity, memory, and feeling.

Now, whenever I hear One More Night, I will  smile because I remember the journey from a mysterious lyric stuck in my head to finally discovering the song behind it. Now with apps  all it takes is humming a tune to uncover a piece of music that was waiting to be found.
