A Kindness I Remember

It is hard to pick the kindest thing someone has done for me because there have been quite a few moments of kindness in my life. But one that stands out was when my friend and housemate let me use his car for about three days after my car broke down.

It may have seemed like a simple gesture to him, but it meant a lot to me. Having his car gave me the freedom to get around while I figured out what to do about mine.

Sometimes kindness does not have to be something huge. It can simply be someone making your difficult situation a little easier. I thought that was genuinely kind, and it is something I still remember.
