How do you manage stress?
How I Manage Stress: “This Is Normal”
Stress is a part of life, but I have learned that how I respond to it makes a difference. When life feels overwhelming, I remind myself that I do not have to solve every problem at once. Sometimes, all I need is to slow down, take a breath, and focus on what I can do right now.

I break big problems into small, actionable steps. Instead of worrying about everything at once, I focus on one thing I can do today. Small steps may not solve everything immediately, but they help me move forward without feeling overwhelmed.
I also remind myself to breathe. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our problems that we forget to pause. Taking a moment to breathe helps me slow down, clear my mind, and approach situations with a little more patience.
Another thing I have learned is that growth is normal. Life comes with challenges, uncomfortable experiences, and moments when things do not go as planned. These experiences are part of being human. I do not have to interpret every difficult moment as a sign that something is wrong with me or my life.
I remind myself that this, too, shall pass. Feelings change, circumstances change, and problems that seem enormous today may become easier to handle with time. I do not need to have everything figured out immediately.
My personal mantra is simple: “This is normal.”
When I experience stress, uncertainty, or discomfort, I tell myself that these things are part of life. I do not have to panic just because things are difficult. I can accept the moment, take a breath, and figure out my next step.
Managing stress does not mean living a life without problems. It means learning how to face those problems without allowing them to consume me.
For me, it comes down to three things: break it down, breathe, and remember that this is normal.
I take life one step at a time, trust the process of growth, and remind myself that whatever I am going through right now will not last forever.
Until next time.
