What part of your routine do you always try to skip if you can?
“Until next time.”
It’s something I always say, but honestly, it’s the one part of my routine I’d skip—if I could.
Those three words hold a pause, a gap between now and what’s next. They sound like an ending, but to me, they’re more like a breath before the next beginning. Every time I say them, I feel the weight of continuity—like my day, my thoughts, and my work never really stop; they just shift form.

My routine is built on meaning. From how I start my mornings to how I end my nights, each piece plays its part. I’ve thought hard about what could be left out, but nothing feels skippable. Everything that remains has a pulse—a purpose.
And yet, until next time lingers as the one thing I’d skip if I could. It feels like a doorway that keeps reopening. But in a strange way, it’s also the only thing now. The phrase itself has become a life, a reminder that I’m still here, still creating, still becoming.
So I won’t skip it after all.I’ll keep saying it—because it means there’s usually more to come.
Until next time.
