Dinner With Eckhart Tolle

An author I would love to have dinner with is Eckhart Tolle. His writing about presence, awareness, and living in the now connects with the way I try to look at life.

I think dinner with him would be less about asking a long list of questions and more about having a meaningful conversation. I would want to hear how he learned to understand the present moment so deeply and how he thinks people can stop getting trapped by their past or constantly worrying about their future.

One thing I would especially enjoy discussing is growth. Sometimes we are changing without realizing it. We keep doing what we can in the moment, and then one day we look back and realize how much we have grown. I think Tolle would have an interesting perspective on that kind of quiet growth.

More than anything, I imagine the dinner being calm and thoughtful. It would be the kind of conversation where you leave with a different way of looking at something you thought you already understood. That is exactly why Eckhart Tolle would be one of my choices for an author I would love to have dinner with.
