If you could erase one event from history, what would it be?
The Event I Would Erase From History
If I could erase one event from history, it would be slavery. The idea that human beings were treated as property, stripped of their freedom, separated from their families, and subjected to cruelty simply because of nothing is something I wish had never happened.

Slavery left wounds that did not disappear when it ended. Its effects can still be seen in families, communities, cultures, and societies today. While we cannot change the past, we can learn from it and make sure such injustice is never repeated.
If history gave me one chance to erase an event, I would choose slavery—not to erase the lessons it taught us, but to erase the suffering that should never have happened.
Until next time.
