Becoming Someone Different

Something I do completely differently from how I was raised is how I express myself and approach life. I come from a science-focused, more conservative background, where being practical, reserved, and focused on traditional paths was important.

Today, I see myself as much more outgoing, creative, and entrepreneurial. I enjoy writing, creating ideas, exploring different interests, and finding my own ways to build something meaningful.

It is an interesting contrast. My background taught me discipline, logic, and structure, while my personality today pushes me toward creativity, independence, and taking chances. I don’t see the two sides as opposites anymore. I think my background gave me the foundation, and my creative side is helping me decide what to build on it.

In many ways, becoming different from how I was raised has been part of becoming more of myself.
