What was your first ever videogame?
My First Video Game: Pokémon on the Game Boy Color
My first-ever video game experience was playing the Pokémon series on the Game Boy Color. Looking back, it was more than just a video game. It was an introduction to a world of adventure, exploration, and imagination.

The Game Boy Color was a special little device. You could hold it in your hands, turn it on, and enter a completely different world. For me, that world was Pokémon.
What made Pokémon so interesting was the idea of exploring, collecting Pokémon, battling other trainers, and discovering new places. There was always something to do, and every new encounter felt like an adventure.
I also loved the idea of building a team of Pokémon and watching them grow stronger. It made the experience feel personal. You were not just playing a game; you were going on a journey.
Today, video games have incredible graphics, online multiplayer modes, and realistic worlds. However, there is something special about those older games that is difficult to replace. Sometimes, simplicity is all you need to have a great time.
Pokémon on the Game Boy Color will always hold a special place in my gaming memories because it was where my video game journey began.
It reminds me that you do not need the latest technology or the most advanced graphics to enjoy a game. Sometimes, all you need is a small handheld console, a great game, and the imagination to explore another world.
Until next time.
